THE GAME PLAN

We believe God is calling us to start a church on Long Island, NY. We want everyone who interacts with Represent Church to know that in Jesus there is forgiveness, freedom, new life, and hope. We want to be a community of believers, in a local community (south shore - east end of LI), with a focus to serve the community. We want everyone to take the next step in their relationship with Jesus. That might mean Salvation: Accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Baptism: Publicly declaring the new life found in Jesus. Serving: Playing the vital role in the church. Discipling: Investing in someones faith, with the hope and expectation that their walk with Jesus will flourish. Church planting: we wholeheartedly believe in multiplication. Raising up the next generation to go and impact this world for Jesus. We want to be faithful to the call God has placed on our lives to "Go into all the world and make disciples". Will you join our church family?

I grew up on Long Island, NY and absolutely loved it. God has given me a desire to return "home" and start a church like the one that my family needed.

I love my family. My role in this church plant journey is to support my husband, invest in our family, and play my vital role in our church family.
OUR STRATEGY IS TO HELP PEOPLE

LOVE GOD
We believe that loving GOD changes everything. In Jesus we have FORGIVENESS of sins, FREEDOM from guilt, and we are forever MADE RIGHT with God. This is where everything starts.
LOVE OTHERS
People are important. Jesus tells us to go into all the world and make disciples. People disciplined in the teachings of Christ. To come alongside people, invest in their faith, and encourage them to go make disciples and repeat the process.
REACH THE COMMUNITY
We believe the people of this community can start a movement of love and life change for Jesus that has never been seen before. We (the local church) are Gods plan A for sharing/ representing Jesus to the community. You are uniquely qualified for loving YOUR community.
WHY REPRESENT?

As we sat and pondered, prayed, and discussed names, we kept coming back to one idea.... Represent Church. We believe we have an amazing opportunity to REPRESENT Jesus to the world, just as Jesus REPRESENTED God, and we get to do it all in the leading and power of the Holy Spirit. Not only do we get to REPRESENT Jesus; we also get to RE - PRESENT Him to those who may have been burned by church or find church/ God irrelevant.
